Every material is a little bit different, but the standard process is as follows:
First we remove old caulk. Next we clean with our 3 step degreasing and etching system to ensure the surface is free of all soap scum, oils, bathing products and debris, and dull the existing surface down just enough to ensure the new surface will mechanically bond. After cleaning, any necessary repairs are made. The next step is to thoroughly mask and cover everything in the room that is not being resurfaced to protect from overspray. Our industrial air movement/ventilation system is set up, a chemical bonding agent is applied, then we spray the new coating! After the surface is refinished, we remove all masking and coverings, re-caulk as appropriate, and clear our supplies and equipment from your home.
The time each item takes to complete varies based on size and condition. Standard size bathtubs with no major repairs and no removal of prior coatings typically take 5 hours from time of arrival to departure; showers stalls may take up to 10 hours. We schedule every project as a full day project and do not double book our days, so your project is our only focus. Our #1 priority is ensuring every job is done correctly and your fixture’s new surface lasts as long as possible!

Standard Tub Refinishing

Standard size tub resurfacing starts at $565
• Standard 5 ft long tub made of porcelain over steel, fiberglass, or acrylic
• Includes up to 3 chip repairs quarter size or smaller. Additional repair costs vary
• Additional cost $250 for manual and/or chemical stripping if tub has been previously coated
• Optional non-skid treatment available for additional $50
• Additional $150 for custom color
Cast Iron Tub Refinishing

Cast iron tub refinishing starts at $580. Pricing is higher than other material tubs because cast iron tubs have additional surface area, and require more product.
• 5 ft long tub made of enamel over cast iron
• Includes up to 3 chip repairs quarter size or smaller. Additional repair costs vary
• Additional cost $250 for manual and/or chemical stripping if tub has been previously coated
• Optional non-skid treatment available for additional $50
• Additional $150 for custom color
Oversized Soaking Tub Refinishing

• Any tub over 5 ft length and/or 3 ft width, with or without jets, made of acrylic, fiberglass, or cultured marble. Price varies depending on size of tub
• Includes up to 3 chip repairs quarter size or smaller. Additional repair costs vary
• Additional cost $250+ for manual and/or chemical stripping if tub has been previously coated
• Optional service to convert jetted tub to soaking tub by removing and filling all jets and intake valves prior to resurfacing. $75/per jet or valve.
• Additional $150 for custom color

Shower Reglazing

• Includes minimal grout repair. If tile needs full re-grout, we can refer you to a specialist to complete that project prior to refinishing.

Full Bathroom Resurfacing

Pricing for full bathroom refinishing varies from bathroom to bathroom depending on the amount of items you need refinished, and size of the bathroom.
For a full refinishing of a vintage bathroom with a cast iron tub and tile surround, wainscoting, floor, and countertop with sink, you could expect to pay between $3000 and $4,000. In Dallas/ Fort Worth, a full bathroom remodel can easily $15,000+, so this is an excellent option for customers who are focused on saving money and time.
